Hi All
I have my account set so that I can receive offline IM's into my email account....but I was wondering if I can reply to these?
In other words would it go to the sender of the original IM or would it just go to the email server (or whatever it is - hehe) that is set up to allow this function??
Sorry for being a complete techno phob!!
TIA

BB x Yes you can, but I'm not sure how long you can make them. I usualy try to treat them like PMs, just a line or two. Vale

Bear in mind though that I think this only behaves for the one session. When the writer logs out and in again they get a different number/somesuch and it fails. Barrowness, check out Sleek for perhaps a more comprehensive method of in and outworld comms: http://delta.slinked.net/programming/sleek/

I would also suggest you to, when you reply by email to an IM, not quote anything from the original message.
Sometimes I get answers by email and the quoted text (with email headers) is a real mess.

'nother reason to remove all quotes and headers is so you're not sharing your email address with everyone
