Hi All,
I'm pretty new to SL and am having trouble getting my head around not only selling stuff but also having the takings go into a group.

Me and me other half have group owned land and have started making objects to sell, i'd like to be able to put the items in a box and sell copies of the contents with the money going into the group.

It all seems pretty simply and straight foward but when i try deeding the item to the group, i can no longer pick it up so i'm unable to then place it in the box.

The one time i did manage to deed an item, the person who bought it somehow gained a parcel of our land! Help!

well assuming the "group" is meaning you and your wife only that you plan to do this with you might want to look at using a "split profit" vendor. That way one person is in charge of stocking and maintaing the vendor and items for sale...but you both can share the profits 50/50. I find that the easiest specially when you get into selling at remote locations like malls where you have to use their groups, etc.
