I've noticed this for a few weeks now that when i map my friends it always shows 200 for the Z Vector. They could be at 25 or 750 for all that matters, but it always shows 200. Then if you try to teleport (with permission) you end up at cloud level and fall to the ground of course. I bug reported this twice within the last couple weeks. Is anyone else noticing this problem, or is it something with my settings? O.o

Is there a teleporting point (landing point) associated with the land parcel in land settings? This could explain why you always TP to the same 200m level.

I've frequently found that my map gets the X & Y co-ordinates correct but plugs in the same Z co-ordinate that I'm currently at. For instance if my avatar is at 500 metres, I'll pop out of the air at 500 metres altitude above the X & Y co-ordinates of my destination. Just one of those bugs I've learned to live with.

Easy to reproduce this bug: open map, click anywhere on it, and look at the z-axis.... it's always 200. My work-around is that i manually edit the z-axis down to 10m. since most ground is rarely at zero altitude and since we can't tp into ground (the destination sim seems to adjust my altitude as I rez in, to put me at ground level, if i'm too low), this normally works well.

thats exactly what trouble i am having Stephanie. Thanks for pointing it out. I have noticed a few times if there is no telehub nearby, i end up falling from 200m where i marked on the map.

I agree, it's not a telehub issue. I can reproduce this in my own sim and my partner and I (we share tier) don't have a telehub there. But as i said, manually typing the altitude you want will override the 200m altitude and prevent that annoying fall. Alternately, you can hit page-up as you drop, and kick into flight mode. You can even make a game of it.... seeing how low you can drop before flying

True thats what I've been doing. I usually remove the first 2 and 0 so it's just 0. If you set your Z location to 0 it puts you at ground level, since you can't actually go under ground without prim assistance.
