Why In The World Does It Take So Long To Get On This Game ...but When It Crashes It Takes 3 Secds Tolog U Out Or When U Can Tp All The Way It Jut Logged U Out ??wth Is Up Withthis U Call..call..call..and Noone Give U Any Usefull Info On How To Fixe The Pro Just The Same Lame.."did U Redl Sl??..or Did U Clear Cashe??!@!" We As Ur Client Should Have Better Treatmnet On This Game Why Ami Callin U Durin Bizz Hours And Gettin The Answer Machine???..yes I Am More Upse Than A Lil Bit But Can U Blame Me??? Why Have 2 #"s To Callif Noone Picks Up I Hear More From"jessica The Comminuty Manager" While Waiting On An Answer Than The Rep Who Dont Even Know How To Fix The Situation????
Not Tryin To Insult But I Am Tryint To Get To The Answer On Why Friends Dissaper For 3 Days And Stillcant Log On Because Sl Has Some New Way Ur Scweing Up If U Only Knew Have Aggrivatin It Is To Try To Play Again Where If Some Goes On U Have To Wait Forever In A Day Before U Get A Response ...would U Too Not Be A Lil Pissed?? ...honestly ..all Im Say Is This Tighten Up..be There When We Need U ...stop Lettin Automated Idiots Give Answers And Ask Question They Dont Understand!!!!!!

Umm... This is really hard to read. But what exactly is the question that a resident can answer? If it's about why it's taking so long to log in? Well, Torley announced in world a wee bit ago that they were having network connection issues *again*. And it's also noted in the blog... What's more, it takes just as long to get logged out by the system as it did to log in. How do I know? I logged out to fix a glitch that was occuring on MY end (clearing the cache fixed that) and it was still logging me out about a minute later.

I've actually wondered about that myself... I guess they have the logout code optimized so as to reduce server bottleneck asap whereas you getting in quickly isn't so much of a priority -- not like you won't wait the 30 seconds

When you log out, it can just break the connection - that's it.

When you log in, the system has to allow for a tricky possibility - namely, that you might have gone to another computer, played SL, then come back. In other words, all of your shape, clothes, inventory.. etc might have changed from what it remembers, so it has to check all of them, and that can take a little while.

It doesnt mean yu've been personally banned, that message comes up when people set their property so no one can cross it, so much for a nice airplane flight!! thanks peeps for needing yur borders but really now, that is a bit silly....I've even seen stores with these impenetrable borders around them, HOW the HELL you expect to sell anything when yu ban ANYone but yurself from entering? lol

yes but this is like places where i wanted to go get information or entered a room by mistake coz of lag, i mean i went to bundle of joy and got banned and i didnt do anything and i had been there before and see stuff, then there was another place like that clinic that i went and coz of the lag it entered me in to a wrong room and i think there was ppl tryin for a baby i mean i counldnt help it this game does lag loads so y go an ban ppl just coz they did sumthing wrong by the lag?

has anyone else had this?

Seriously,

Make sure you personally are actually banned - right click on the property in question, click "About Land", click the "Ban" tab - if your name is in that list, then send the owner of the property a polite IM explaining that whatever you may have done was accidental, no harm intended, etc. Most folks are reasonable enough, when approached with courtesy and politeness..
