3rd party builder?

is there anything to allow us to build easier?
like outside of second life that i can just upload in?

or is that even allowed?

im new to building and am going crazy trying to make something with a avator.
either in the way or at a bad view and i cant just move into a better one sometimes without deselecting what im trying to edit.

ive got all these ideas of what to make and the shapes to use and edit, i just cant get it in motion. has someone made a outside modeler using the game's shapes that i can build with much easier

I've never used it, but this thread has covered that issue.
