I rent land on the Mainland and I want to give the renters full permissions over the land WITHOUT giving them the ability to sell the land? Can I do this by simply setting the land to group or does it have to be deeded? And if deeded, can I specify who can sell the land, so only myself and my alt would be the only ones with that ability? Thanks!

I believe it has to be deeded, but you can set the group roles to ensure only you (and your alt) have the ability to sell the land and receive proceeds from the sale.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

What Ann said. It is in the group powers, such as landscaping with Linden trees. It doesn't work on land set to group.

And geting the land back from group land status is easy. Just set it for sale to you only with a price of 0.
