I'd like to know everything about rollback. I've damaged my plot with a lanfbot on the run. It created dykes everywhere and covered many buildings with SL dirt. Now i've read that rollback are not performed on mainland.
Got so many questions: how do i check if it's mainland? what happens with the suff that other placed on the plot? when is it usually performed? is it safe?
etc. etc. etc.

The problem with rollback is that it affects all residents on the sim, not just you.
Look at your about land tab (by right clicking on the ground) Then check the objects - you should see an opion to return all prims belonging to other ppl

To see if it's mainland, go to about land, covenant tab, and check the estate owner - if there isn't one, it's mainland. And you will absolutely not get a rollback done just to revert your plot. They have recently done a few rollbacks on mainland sims, but that was due to system problems that left the entire sims in total ruin. Hate to be the bearer of bad news here Similarly, if you're on an estate island, you would have to speak to the island owner about the possibility of requesting a rollback. The answer will likely be "no" there as well, because it would affect all other residents on the island. PS: If you are even THINKING about using the "revert land" option in your terraforming tools, DONT! That will revert the land to its original state when the region was first created, not when you first bought the parcel. From: Man Monnett I'd like to know everything about rollback.
