With the latest update, the mature box in search is always unchecked by default.
Word also has it that not only will all future land be PG, but all male AVs (including furries) have to shave their facial hair and female AVs must always wear bras no matter the cup size.
You can no longer have the letters H-E-L-L consecutively in the same profile paragraph. Also, by default, when you log in all your genitalia will be back in inventory in a folder marked "For use only after you're partnered".
In public, the word escort must now be refered to as "chaperone".
The "L" in "L Word" now stands for "Lasagna".
And for heaven's sake, don't even think of naming your group "Whip me, Beat me, Make me Write Bad Checks".

What rubbish. I don't see any of this happening, as good as it would be for those of us who enjoy Second Life in a sensible manner.
Unfortunately, "mature" tends to encomass some of the mose puerile, immature, sad, pathetic crap that can be found on the grid.

From: Gaybot Foxley I noticed that the mature box is unchecked once installing the new viewer. I thought it always did that because I usually remove old versions and cleanly reinstall for updates. It doesn't seem like a big deal; at least the box isn't gone completely; it may just have been a bug. You're kidding about all that other stuff right? lol Disney isn't innocent. They've been known to put hidden erections and penises in supposed children's cartoons. (The Little Mermaid) I'm pretty sure Jessica Rabbit flashes her naughty bits for a couple of frams too

Ah, but all of the new sims in the auction queue are mature. I wish they would release more PG land. There is no logic to that. Who will enforce these new rules? Should we expect to see a uniformed brigade of phone weasels and toaster squirrels roaming the grid, taking names and invoking God powers on offenders? It would kind fit with the Disney theme.

Broccoli True maturity includes understanding that not everyone wants to live life the way you choose to and being secure enough in yourself and the people you voluntarily surround yourself with, to understand and accept that. Only a child or a dictator tries to impose his way on all people, especially in a place that is supposed to be exclusively for grown adults. |

I will let the critic speak for me, since i would probably trash LL a lot more.
Jay Sherman: It stinks!
Basically it is a good idea to hide the mature stuff from people who haven't checked it yet, but from what i see of LL lately they are heading into the same direction as THERE.com. I estimate that soon they will be disallowing anyone to have cyber/yiff and force us all to wear clothes even if we are alone in a private sim we own. When that day comes, i will be compiling my own OpenSim from what is left of it, and running my own grid. I have everything needed to do so, downloaded just not the knowhow in the programming department. It would totally suck to be banned just for wanting to pleasure your partner in private land 700m up and both being adults. I see it coming... You just watch and see.
