I have checked the option in preferences to have my IM's logged, but I cannot seem to find logs anywhere on my computer. Could someone kindly tell me where I should look? SL is loaded onto a removeable hard drive on my computer, not C:drive. I have looked through the SL folders there but cannot see anything. Thanks in advance for any replies  |

The path for the log files should be shown in Preferences, Communication tab, IM options, to the right of the blue Change Path button.

The files are saved as .txt files (at least on a PC, don't know about Macs or Linux)
so search for "chat.txt" for the general chat file, or search for "AvatarName.txt" for IMs with a particular person.
