I know my CC has well enough to pay 9.95....so what the ???!!!??!?!?!?!?!

hmm, check your bank records? I have no idea. Only time I ever saw negatives was with my old account and I didn't realize it but was in a group that took L from me. But never ten bucks worth.
Though, is it the 17th in the UK yet?

LL just gives you the opportunity to sell L$ in order to pay off debts. Same happens when you buy an island for example; your balance changes to -1,675, giving you time to sell some land or L$ and avoid your credit card being charged with such a sum. I suppose sooner or later they'll charge the card, if the negative balance isn't paid off.

Ah, is this the USD balance on this website's transaction page? If it is, I think it just means that you've been billed for your monthly subscription, but they haven't taken the money from your bank/card yet. They were about a week late collecting my tier this month, so I spent about a week with a USD balance of -$15.00. Panicked a bit too...but like I say, after a week they got around to taking it, and it returned to zero. And until then, I'd always thought that whatever else LL broke, at least they could get it together to take subscriptions at the right time...oh well...  Just glad it was only $15.00, so keeping funds in there to cover it was no trouble. If I was an island owner, and thought I had an extra $1000 to play with, and then didn't...I wouldn't be too happy. |
