Before I ask this I want it to be known that this isnt to do with the insane bug with group chat that seems to be half way down or near the end of the fix list..
I was wondering what the limitations on the mute function is.. is there a max number of avi's you can put on there? also can it be used to mute a group (Im not a member) to save on slots.... I am having serious trouble with a group and after everything I have done, brought and relations ships formed (business and personal) its not viable to remake...

There is max but I forgot how many. I know for land there is ban and allow limit but that is seprate thing.
Also I having issues reccently with a neighbor on sim next to mine. No matter how many times I mute his stupid copybot low level spam or whatever stupid announcenents every time I log or tp in there I have to do it again.
Some how mute has become temporary thing. Which really really bugs me.
I was told they changed it reccently so mute doesn't remain muted sadly.
Groups there is no way to mute group instant messages other then just leaving them all together or using alt with that group for announcement reminders.

Im not a member of the group... I said the question wasn't regarding that =P hehe... Its a group on a rp sim harassing me and rather than just muting how ever many people there are in that group I was hoping to be able to just mute the hole group...
I didnt think there was a way to be honest and I wasn't hopeful but I thought Id ask on the off chance as there is ALOT I don't know about sl

Mutes doesn't stick anymore so when you mute someone or something then log off the mute list clears.
If thats a new feature it's a rather stupid one. What reason would LL have to make muting temporary?

Its is annoying and stupid yet things and people I muted over a month ago are still there but I can't mute my neighbors stupid screaming objects now.

my mutes stick.... I know because I had to take a jerk off mute to play out an rp scene with him last night just to mute him again -_- looks like I will mute each of them one after another as they harass me...
