do any of you have this problem of loggin in.... its fine untill it says "waiting for region handshake" then it says unable to login.

the sim i live on has ridiculous lag today... if you can tp elsewhere you should be fine

its logging in i should say ^_^ been trying for the past hour now and it still says WAITING FOR REGION HAND SHAKE.... okay reigons dont be scared just shake each others hands already :P....

never had region handshake prob... maybe if you go into preferences and change your start location that will work...

SL is like RL today; expectantly full of obstacles! I can't get on; or if I do I can't get anything.

I hate it when I'm reminded how fragile SL is and how much something I spend so much time growing isn't really under my control.

I think since voice is on live now. it's causing a major lag problem. probably because there's so many people using it now. the server can't handle it.

think the voice grid can handle it but the main grid *wich* is actually doing all the cpu intensive stuff like channel transfer when moving over plot borders, connecting residents to the same channel and ofcourse the person to person communication (1 on 1 or group)

Spike Linden gave me a visit today after following up on a performance ticket i filed during the weekend) and he said they got stuff fixed yesterday and a queue that ran for days, also gave him my concerns with the voice grid (the abouve)

next weekend if it goes wacky again, i`ll have a direct hotline and share the results :D

Yes I too was having issues with functionality.

I logged in with a new character to see how the problem effects an Av with a very small inventory, and it says "downloading clothing" then puts you in the world with completly wrong shape and most of your folders missing, and then doesn't download anymore. (and then it crashes after a while)

There is also issues with credits not displaying, asset server I lost a few items today that were expensive, cant teleport, cant access profiles, can't search, pick a function of SL and it's broken today, it was broken last week and the week before. LL you need to fix your infrastructure, the service we are getting for the amount of money we pay is really unfair.
