The Bad Roommate thread was just too much fun to let it die just because it was locked. Besides, it is part of a very reasonable question: What do you do about it when a m___f___ SOB who is really not sufficiently nice intrudes on your SL existence? Hey, WE NEED RESIDENT ANSWERS HERE. Actual experiences and responses preferred - who doesn't love a virtually REAL soap opera? (Especially if it has a good outcome, and if it doesn't, hey! again, maybe someone can help; so post, already.)

Trowing a couple of sarcastic dry sentences and scare them off.
You can also try crazy nonsense. People with less-noble objectives get tired pretty quick when you don't make any sense. Just shake them a lot and laugh very hard.
