Yes, I am new (sorta) and No, I am not stupid. Just confused. I need some help with land store issues, and some answers to specific questions concerning buying and selling land. Please don't give me links to the Knowledge Base, as I have read it completely, and "my answer is not here" lol. np, and thx. i have been to the land store mulitple times daily since Sunday, trying to buy an island. X marks the spot, confirm, blah blah, and then "sorry, denied". But no reason is given. I know my CC works, as I use it inworld. I also called the CC co. ahead of time to authorize a large purchase, and to pre-approve any purchases thru LL/SL. They tell me I am good to go. The one phone call that got thru to LL says just keep trying, u look good from our end. I submitted a ticket, which has never been acknowledged. Now I can't get thru on the phone. Has anyone else had this much trouble buying a dang island??

Now that the rather torpid staff at Linden Lab has failed to take your thousands of dollars for the island that you'll pay hundreds of dollars in monthly island fees to maintain why are you persisting in trying to do business with them? In other words, you've repeatedly attempted to place money on their table. My advice is to step away from the table and possibly revisit the idea of island-ownership in a few months, or years, or possibly never. |
