Does anyone know how to stop your character from doing the typing movement all the time? like an override? It interrupts animations sometimes and I'd like to be able to shut it off.

When you type your chat-text, type /0 (slash-zero) first and your AV won't type.

Will that command also stop the typing sound? I have been begging LL to allow us to customize or mute the typing sound for a while now.

During live concerts it is common to type a / in front of your 'chat' to avoid the typing sound.

Yay! Thanks! That will at least stop the typing sound coming from one place from now on, me! :D :D :D

Actually I have the reverse problem that my client periodically loses the typing sound, and I have to relog to get it back. I like having the audible cue that someone's talking. It's especially handy if SL is not the window with current focus (i.e. I'm doing something else with SL in the background).
