My land is on an island. When I'm on the island (my land or the neighbors) my av's knees bend and my feet sink into the sand. When I'm on another island or the mainland my av acts normally. Any ideas as to what might be causing this abnormal behavoir?

Are other AVs having this same problem on the land, or just you?

If the former, then some of the land on the island has been rendered phantom, which is an inappropriate setting. You'll need to alert your Estate Manager/Island owner.

If it's just your AV, and nobody else, who is having a problem, check your attachments, especially prim shoes. Detach them all, walk on the land, see if you're still sinking.

If you're still having problems at that point, I'm all out of answers!

Clear cache and relog helps. FFS, maybe I should work at LL :p

Seriously try that before getting all worried. Another thing to try is to sit and then stand. Usually, problem fixed

It's a known SL bug, commonly called "beny leg syndrome".

Sitting on something and standing again often fixes it. So might teleporting away and back again, or logging off and back on again.
