Deed to group / Owner makes contribution borked?

I just bought some land and want to deed it to my group. Although I have ticked the Owner makes contribution option, the deed fails because the group hasn't got enough land credits. What's up with that?

If the situation is as you describe, the error message sounds wrong and means the game is probably working poorly again. However, I can think of two things that you could check.

Are you an owner of the group? If not, check your status within the group to make sure you can deed and buy land for the group:

Go to edit >> groups >> members & roles tab >> roles tab >> highlight your role in the group (usually member, officer or owner) >> scroll down in the bottom right corner to "parcel management" >> the "deed land and buy land for group" box will need to be ticked on at least one of your roles for the group.

The second thing to check is the "Land & L$" tab. It *is* possible for a group to be in negative tier (highly unlikely, but possible). If that's the case, you would need to donate extra tier to bring the group to even before you could deed more land into the group.

With all that said, try again tomorrow when fewer people are logged in. It's probably just a hiccup in the game.
