Ok, I am moving into a beautiful place that doesn't float in the sky (thank you landlord friend you are truly delicious).

Want to put some stuff in there... am not all that familiar with the prim counting and its affects on land.

I know how to determine the total number of prims a particular object has, but is there an easy way to find that out about the land that i am on?? Do I have to ask my landlord (he's already told me, but, alas.... I was distracted and forgot)

Also, what happens if you go beyond what a parcel can tolerate?

Lastly... lets say I am right on the borderline of the limit... and I have a friend over, and they are wearing something that has an extraordinary amount of prims... what happens??

Number of prims allowed on land - right click on ground>About Land>Objects tab (This is how it works on mainland, I assume its the same on islands, but I'm not sure the prims are tied to the parcel in the same way)

You can't go beyond the parcel limit, it just doesn't let you rez anything that would take you over

Worn prims don't count towards the parcel limit

Like Wulfric said. About land will tell you how many prims you are allowed, how many used, how many left unused. When you get bored looking at your things put them back in inventory to free up more of your prim allowance for newer stuff.
