I have been struggling for days trying to locate what I believe to be a phantom or hidden dvd player. I am unable to use any movie systems or dvd players without it reverting back to a certain music video channel....i have brought the creators of the dvd players and televisions and was told that video interrupting was not theirs....how can i locate this device so that I can control what media is played on my parcel?
I looked in the forums for a solution to no avail.... sorry/thanks in advance!!

I am afraid to suggest this only due to the time involved in finding it but here is a few thngs you can do (assuming you have owner rights on land) A) make sure no "odd prims" are around. Sounds silly but more then once having group land I ask someone. "why is thi spink bow here" and you won't believe the answers I get...that was a security system >_<. B) Use a scanner to find scripted objects or use the edit/cam trick to highlight scripted objects. Then check the objects to make sure you put that item/script there.

I am the land owner, and group owner to whom the land is deeded to, and set to. If I copy and paste a URL into ABOUT LAND>MEDIA TAB>STREAMING MEDIA after about ten minutes it repopulates it with "http://download.ifilm.com/qt/portal/2753346_200.mov" no matter what I do. Does this help?

well it's obvious there is a script on your land that is doing it. You should be able to erase it so I would start checking for scripts sinc eyou already checked for "recorder" objects and contact those people. Alot of times if you are editing a prim and cam around you can see any other script prims around you highlighted in red. Also some avatar radars will scan for scripted objects but that gets..messy.
