In before the lock...often posted as a way to say to the original poster (OP), "Listen you moron...this thread is going to be closed and locked by a moderator."

From: Damien1 Thorne In before the lock. I could have replied: Quick, before the thread gets locked, just tell me what IBTL means! But more information was given *what does the yellow light mean?*

From: Lexxi Gynoid I take it no one remembers that Taxi episode. I hadn't until you just reminded where that quote came from.

From: Marianne McCann I hadn't until you just reminded where that quote came from. heh, I guess that's why no one thought my contribution to this thread was funny. heh. I meant it in the same way as the Taxi episode. "What does the yellow light mean?" "slow down" "What . . does . . the . . yellow . . light . . mean?" "slow down" "wwwwhhhhhaaaaattttt . . . .ddddoooooooessss....tttttthe....yelloooooowwww...liiiight....mmeeeeean?" As in, the response to "what does IBTL mean?" was "In before the lock" So I asked for it to be quickly explained before the thread was locked. See, I can't do humor. heh.

I'm not familiar with the Taxi episode, but it made me think of the movie Starman. The title character learned to drive by observing the earth woman he was with. After he nearly caused a wreck at an intersection, she got mad at him for not understanding what the lights meant. Based on his observations, red meant stop, green meant go, and yellow meant go really fast.
