I have some slingo machines, and a few of the various copycats as well such as streets, poon etc.
If i set these up on my land so they dont accept money will i gt in trouble?
From what i read it say i can, but i think i would probably get a lot of AR's, what will the lindens do?, will they come and check if money is involved?
Please, please, please dont start any more arguments about casinos etc, i have accepted they are gone i just want to know if i will still be able to use my machines purely for entertainment purposes.

Its not gambling if there's no money. That said, if they do a sweep/remove of known gambling devices, you could still get hit?

"This policy only applies to wagering games that meet the criteria listed above. If your game or contest does not meet the above criteria, it is not restricted under this policy, but applicable laws and local practice may impose additional requirements on you. This policy does not give you guidance on what your legal obligations are – as noted above, that is your responsibility to determine."
If your machines don't accept money, there is no wager, so they are not covered under the policy.

Yeah thats what i thought and what im worried about, i want to rez them purely for entertainment value maybe even offer some prizes if i feeling generous, although my income has now fallen to 300 a week, i would still like to operate a games parlour purely for the fun of it Im a little scared that putting out slingo machines etc will get me into lots of trouble with AR reports etc. To be honest this ban on gambling is probably a good thing for me, i was making a little bit of money from my casino but i was never gong to be able to compete with the big players. Now were all on an even standing, i think i have to creativity to provide entertainment that doesnt involve gambling but does involve gaming and because were all at the bottom i have just as much chance as anyone else to get to the top of the new SL sector: gaming entertainment that doesnt involve gambling.

Maybe if you put a huge sign above them saying "freeplay" and how this abides by the TOS no gambling rules you will get less mistaken AR's

Yeah, it's a problem with LL and their shotgun approach.
Put up a large sign and pray for the best, I guess.
