Anyone having a issue logging in? My screen is just sitting there saying logging in... And going no place fast. Cleared out the cache, rebooted, can surf the net but SL just sits saying logging in.

Can anyone confirm?

I have had no problems, HOWEVER I have been booted an unusually high number of times today with a "Mangled Network Data" message (an error I was getting a few weeks back, then went away, now returned..)

May mean an internet traffic issue, I dunno.

I *get* in fine. Staying in, another story ...

But it's not going away!!!!! I have uninstalled and installed twice now, what's up with this? And, can anyone explain in detail how to do a clean uninstall/install??? If i type Second Life in my search window on XP, it brings up all kinds of files and cookies still on my puter even after ive uninstalled! Which of these things do i need to remove for a clean uninstall??
PLEASE PLEASE HELP FAST, as I am unable to even play the game now....

Try logging in at another location, such as another sim. Sometimes that does the trick, depending what the problem is.

Also, sometimes a region doesn't log out your avatar properly - so it thinks you are still 'there'. I've heard of sims needing a restart before the avatars could get back in - not sure of the accuracy of that information, though.
