Right click edit blank?

What did I do? When I right click on something and select edit all of the info boxes under the more tab are grayed out and blank on objects I didn't make. This is the primary way I get info about things I might want to buy (creator and # of prims) and I feel blind without this info. Did I turn this feature off/ If so, how can I turn it back on?

I just will not buy a landscaping item without knowing the # of prims and many creators don't include this info in the description.

You have "Select only my objects" ticked in the Tools menu.

This happened to me once, and nearly drove me insane. Turns out there's an option in your Tools menu for "Select Only My Objects." If you've accidentally toggled that on, you'll have exactly the problem you describe.

THANKS!!! I was making tiny prims and used that to pick them (along with the contents of my house by accident) up and forgot about it!!

this happens to me too. the workaround is to right click twice. the first right click loads up an empty edit dialog, and the second right click populates the diolog with infos

You don't need a workaround for something that works perfectly.

You are not! You are just as forgetful as the rest of us, is all. Besides, it is something that I've found sometimes turns itself on.. for no apparent reason. Just like the "Show Updates" cones

it doesnt work perfectly for me.
if i right click edit on an object i didnt create, it will open an empty dialog box.
i must right click a second time to get information displayed in the dialog box.
thats pretty much what i said in my prior post already.
if i deselct "select only my objects" this makes building harder for me and makes it harder to move multiple vendors and whatnot.

It doesn't work perfectly for me. I invariably have to click more than once, even with "Select Only My Objects" unchecked. I know others experience the same problem because this has come up before.
