Can I see their online status?

If i have made my online status invisable to selected friends.... can I still see them log in and out even though they cant see me?

But also know that there are devices that look directly if someone is logged in or not. When your friends use one of these devices putting yourself on invisible for them won't help at all.... only they will know that you are "hiding" from them.

If you have an avatars Key - you can see if they are online with a scripted object.

In addition if you are in the same group as someone who has you on "invisible" you can still check their online status via the group.

That's how it's supposed to work.

There's a current bug where if you hide your online status, you won't see them online when you log on, but you will see them if they come online while you're online already.

And there's the usual presence bug where someone doesn't show online until you actually IM them.

Ok, not so good at this stuff yet... what form would the object take? Could an object that can detect your status do other things as well? Kinda multi-task in other areas? Defense, anti-push, things of that nature??
