Is there a way to move a house from one plot to another?

I've been told that I have to link all my prims... but that's hard 'cause i end up linking other people's prims.

And then do i package them all in one small box?

If it's a house you build yourself, then what you would do is either..

A. Link the prims together if the house is small enough for it to be one piece, and then take the house into your inventory.

B. Link the house in sections or quadrants, then get an overhead view, go into edit mode, trace a selection box around the house, and take the house into inventory that way.

Regardless of which of these two methods you use, it's always best to empty the house of all furniture and such, as it can stop you from "picking up" you house. Also, when taking your house out of your inventory to place on the new Parcel, be sure to be in Edit mode first, so you can move the house as one piece.

First, in Tools, enable "Select Only My Objects" - that makes it easy! Remember it's on - or turn it off after using it.
