Grey blob back? EDIT: RESOLVED

EDIT: Uh, so it was an un-fully-rezzed follower thing I must have brought out at one point, oops. Sorry for the trouble

So I just re-logged in after crashing, to discover a grey blob thing following me!
I quickly returned it.

Guess what? It returned to my inventory! It has creator unknown on it, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't mine in the first place and now I'm afraid to rez it.

Suggestions?

Once possibility is to find a parcel where scripts have been turned off and rez it there. If you have land of your own you could do this on your own property. Failing that, ask a friend if they could temporarily turn off scripts on their parcel and help you with the problem that way.

If you're so concerned that you really and truly dare not rez it, you'll have to consult with a Linden, who may have the ability to inspect the contents of your inventory without you having to rez the object in question.

or if it is not something you want (heck if it is yours you don't even remember it) just delete it.
