I have tried to log in this morning, and I can't do it. "Some unknown" gremlin is having a blast this morning. The blog says go ahead and log in, well, just how do I do that? Is anyone else's gremlin busy this morning?

Same problem. Check grid status page. Nothing on the blog, but I'm getting grid down.

'fraid so. I failed to log in several times, then finally got in the 5th time I tried. Once I got in, I had asset issues (couldn't delete prims, couldn't rez prims.) I gave up and decided to go shopping, and after I realized the mall I TP'd to had nothing I wanted, I couldn't TP out. So, I decided to fly back home...except the sim I was on appeared to be the only sim - every edge bumped me like it was the edge of the world.

Color me frustrated. It's not even Wednesday yet!

grid problems

I am in the grid, but its VERY slow... i cant pay for anything, see profiles, or get information from scripted objects like rental boxes.

No friends.. no world map...

TP very hit and miss.. mostly miss.

I guess when the sun rises in CA someone will notice, after the bagels have been consumed.

just another manic monday.

Same here. Tried to log in and after about 5 minutes the client said the grid was down, but no mention of that on the status page and nothing in the blog. I guess something just popped up and they're working on it.

Would have been nice if they had mentioned that on the web page or blog

*blinks* Wow.. I'm having trouble even checking the account via the web page. It's giving me the grid status page.. saying "Second Life Offline for Database Maintenance or Update." Is it Wednesday already?!

I suggest you all recheck the grid status. It clearly says Second Life is down for database maintenance. It also quite clearly says that this may affect portions of the website.

A few things are still sluggish but it seems to be recovering

.

Probably still a good idea to be careful with rezzing expensive items or making big payments however

Well, when the grid status page says "second life is down" I call it down.
Like I said, people being in or trying to get in when it is down, makes it harder for the software engineers to fix the problem. This one seemed like a relatively minor problem anyway though.

but it isn`t down, the status page w=prolly shows that it`s down cause it can`t communicate with the login servers wich are screwed
