Hoa many others tired of hearing about Copybot here in this Froum?

I know I am. please stop posting all the polls and starting new threads about same thing (use the same one). this is going to cause us problems, this is residents answers not a place to post your opinions. and I for one don't want to see this place shut down AGAIN

Earl, the problem is that LL isnt giving us enough info. So it spills into these forums where we, the residents can discuss it amongst ourselves. Is it important? You bet. Is it out of control? Yeah, maybe, but when this is the only outlet a lot of people have to be heard, and discuss ideas... then yeah. In spite of it being hashed to death in polls, posts, comments etc. the fact still remains that we arent being given an option. Their silence is fueling the mistrust, the speculation, and the fear. When the company wont fix the problem, declares it still ok to use "If you have the permission to use it", goes on allowing these people to stay associated with LL/SL, etc.. What other recourse do we have other than to keep the topic in the 'limelight' persay, until something meaningful is done.

Yeah, I get tired of reading the same posts over and over again, but Id be more tired of seeing cloned me's running around with stolen stuff that someone else created.

this is rather eye opening. Yes, LibSl has now removed some people from their rolls, but only after Pandora's Box was opened.

but things like this is what shut down the forums befor, I agree copybot should be taken care of by LL and SL

I would call half the threads in the first page alone a little more than limelight ... but then spam is a much shorter word

Yeah, this should be done in the genral forum. Or possibly an economy forum.

Oh wait, LL took those away because.. um... I never did understand why.

Besides, this is a problem that threatens to cripple SL as content creators leave, either because they didn't realize the secuity problems inherant in SLs core design (which LL can't ever truely fix) or because they did but are disgusted with LLs handling of the situation.

I think it's important enough that it *should* be filling up the forums.

Yeah, I actually preferred it when everybody complained about griefers, that was more fun, and could actually be debated about (Ex: exact definition of a griefer, groups that are griefers, etc.)

Yes, we know copybot is bad, and yes, we know that people on their thrones are to blame. Move on, and talk about other things, like war or poverty or something. Talk about, FIC, i dont care, just stop it with the copybot thing, its overkill.

I understand the uproar but truthfully I feel its unfair heck I was talking about prim jello and had my thread closed because I forgot to ask question which I had intended too.
I don't think it is personally fair.
I probably won't come back to forum again. I am torn at this point if I should continue being member.
