has there ever been a contest, a vote, on a wide scale, for who has the coolest/sexiest/most awesome avi in SL? i want to enter. i think id win. in at least one of the categories.

We used to have a Linden sponsored weekly contest 4 years ago. The prize: getting your mug put on a sign in the Welcome Area. The Avatar of the Week Contest fizzled and died after SL ended beta.

They have these at clubs all the time. The DJ or the "Security Guard" or somebody else who works there or owns the place always wins.
