Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have a small adult club on an Island server that I started a couple of months ago ........(Its more than just an adult sex club).
I placed an advert in the search section for the club 'Cain's Place' and paid L$ 500, thinking the more I paid the better my position would be in the search criteria. (silly boy! Lol.)
Well, ever since then I have been spending quite a bit on odds and sods for the club.
This week I have started to make a note of my visiter list and my current balance in L$ before I log off to go to work in RL.
Today I noticed that I have had L$500 deducted from my account,
......first question.....Is this a repeat function every week for my inclusion in search, and I just havent noticed before.
.....second question....If this is so, how do I stop it.
You know I was just having a little celebration of the fact that I had actually taken L$ 500 this week for the first time since I opened...I think you will understand my concern as to the whereabouts of this missing L$ 500....
Thanks for looking and maybe some kind soul will enlighten me to what is happening.

yup.. it's weekly .. Not sure how to cancel it, but I imagine from the same window that you made the classified in..

In general, ads renew weekly, so you'll get docked L$500 per week for that ad, unless you cancel it completely. Personally, I usually refuse to pay more than the minimum L$50 fee for my ads. The 'better placement' just isn't worth it. Someone else can aleays buy an even higher place on the list.

You can cancel the ad from the same Profile window you placed it in.

HINT: Duplicate your Ads in your Profile Picks. It's free, has almost the same functionality, and gives you a backup of the ad copy if LL loses your ad.

Classified listings only repeat if you've checked the box for a relisting each week - there should be a little checkbox that *should* be left unchecked if you only want to run the classified for one week.

If you are stuck with a recurring classified, simply delete the listing.
