I read recently that you can toggle off the feature that allows your avatar to go afk or busy, so that you won't crash out of SL for in activity. I fixed it in my account, but now I don't remember where I did it, so I can show a friend how to do it. Anyone know?

Thanks,

Since I'm not logged in to SL right now, I'm trying to remember, but I'm pretty sure it's under the World menu at the top of the SL window.

I think there are keyboard shortcuts for them too, I'm thinking either shift-control-A for Away and shift-control-B for Busy, or it could be control-alt-A and control-alt-B.

Thee is a way to disable them so that they do not send your avatar afk, and you will therefore not crash out during events, etc. I just don't remember where I toggled the feature to "off"

I think what you are looking for is this..

press ctrl+alt+D to enable the Advanced menu

go to Advanced->Character->Character Tests->Go Away/AFK When Idle

Duh. I guess it helps to read a bit better. I was thinking toggling the status, not the automatic entry into afk mode.
