Not sure what you're question is. You can duplicate a prim by using edit then shift-drag on an arrow. Is that what you mean?

perhaps you meant created a mirror image of an object, or perhaps an actual reflective mirror?.. try and be less cryptic in your questions.

This may be as close as you will find to a mirror tool - a basic mirroring script:

It moves a prim into a mirrored postion around another reference prim which is handy for creating a mirror image of an object.

well i mean doing a mirror on a object. for exemple duplicate an object and doing a mirror on the X side. like we can do in 3d studio max or blender.

Ya, that little script is cool. They could easily implement a mirror tool in the builder. For example, I make half an AV, and group that half...then, I choose the mirror tool, and viola! the entire half is mirrored.

Many objects are symmetrical, and would benefit from a mirror tool. RL 3D designers use that function all the time.

One caveat: after mirroring, it's worth looking around for mirror-pairs that can be combined into single, symmetrical prims. In contrast to pure 3D modeling programs, prims aren't just geometric constructs, but relatively heavyweight objects, so even if building attachments where prims aren't limited by parcel constraints, every prim that rezzes is a cost to retrieve, download to clients, instantiate in the sim, compute physical collision bounding boxes, etc., etc., so they're worth "conserving" when possible. (Pre-sculpties, this was a huge consideration for 3D model-to-prim "importers" too.)

What would be a very useful tool in SL for building/sculpting, would be subtractive prims.
