Why can accounts only upload $10 USD a month now? Does this effect all accounts? What about premium? How are we supposed to pay for land if we can't upload enough money?

Where are you getting this idea? Did your trading limits get reset? Because I just purchased $25 worth of Lindens tonight.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Hi Ramsus,

The problem is that LL changed their trading limits policy about two months ago. Now your "number of days" is calculated based on the first time you give them money, not the day you joined SL. As you are not yet "payment info used", you are considered to be at 0 days. (Yes, this means a lot of old accounts had their trading limits reset to newb levels.)

When you make your first purchase on Lindex (or if you purchase a premium account), your clock will start. You will be limited to $10 total for that day and the next, but can buy another $40 starting on the third day. On day 15, you can buy another $100.

If that's not enough, you can also buy on SLX. When I did that, they also had a $100 limit for new accounts, but I was new to SLX, not just buying lindens there.

And when REALLY desperate, you could buy lindens from Anshe Chung, but you will get a cr*p exchange rate.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy lindens on eBay. Many of those sales are lindens purchased using stolen credit cards, and LL will trace them to you and take them back PLUS another 50% as a penalty.
