Hello,
I sold my land in the morning...because it is group owned I was told the new owner had to buy everything from me, and to set the price to $0..so I went around and did this (and I have done this in the past with group land, it's my group). All he had to do was "buy" it back and it would be in his name. So I set it all to my group name and each object to be bought for $0.........then late at night I got a message that 196 objects had been returned to me to my lost and found folder by parcel return.
#1..there is nothing in my lost and found that would indicate a return.
#2 the land is now empty (and it was all set up, house, pool, furniture, waves)
#3 the new owner had no idea and wanted to know why it was blank.
The only thing different was I wasn't wearing my group title.....but then next door they had no waves or docks..does SL do sweeps.?.......and why everything on my land, everything?
It is making me crazy, can't find answers anyplace..can anyone help?

Is there anything in your lost and found folder at all? Sometimes when things are autoreturned, they are returned as one item occasionally named "object". If there is anything in there; try rezzing it, and a bunch of things may rez. I can also give you the cliche advice of clearing your cache, relogging, and reloading your inventory. The items will hopefully appear.

Yeah... I noticed yesterday that my "autoreturned objects" were never returned to my Lost and Found folder either! Never happened before yesterday.
*points to green grin smiley in above post* What's so funny about it???

Thanks for the answers and yes, it was all there in one box in my lost and found ..BUT..everything was unlinked..what a mess. I am still not sure why it was returned except as I said, it was set to my group and I was not wearing my group name tag?????
Fortunately my buyer is a lovely man who laughed it off. I have him some $$ to buy a new house, rezzed what I could so he could take it and offered to help decorate or anything he needed..he said, don't worry, it's fine! I just feel badly that I screwed up because he paid top dollar because of how I had the land and house set up..sigh...I am renting from now on..LOL

What makes you so sure it wasn't something the new owner did, like turn on autoreturn beofre buying the stuff?

I've noticed that this bug only occurs on private islands. Try moving your camera to 0,0,0 in the sim that returned the items and touching the items that are sitting there. That may return the objects.
