Off and on I've tinkered with this Client option but can't seem to make it work.

After checking the option, I have left-clicked the sun and tried unsuccessfully to make it do a bloody thing. Yes, I want to do this for SL photography. TIA

Hi Amras, I'm not in-world here so forgive me please. I've not heard of move sun but Force Daylight under the World tab, yes. I shall investigate tonight! :)

Basically, after you enable this option, you just need to go into Mouselook (under 'view' I believe) and move the sun to wherever you want it, while still in Mouselook. Then hit escape to exit Mouselook, and the sun should be in the place you chose. Good luck! :)

You do not click the sun with the mouse, you go into mouselook.. just do it and then look around and you will see the sun changing position. Try it to get the feel of it and you will understand it quickly. :)

Hehe, cute, we were posting at the same time lol.

TYVM Ilianexsi and Skye. Works like a charm. Mouselook was the one thing I didn't try!

You two are the best!

Hey, a mystery solved! I never could get it to work, either, and it would be so useful for photographing houses for ads.
