Hello all,
Hope this is the right place to post this. I'm wearing a "hair" right now but it doesn't seem to be recognized as "worn", so I can't take it off! In my inventory list menu for the item I still have a "wear" option but not a "detach" or any other take-off option, and right-clicking the item does not select it or give me a detach option. Any ideas for how I can get this hair off?

Thanks very much! If the hair is an attachment then you just need to relog. If it is the base av hair, you have to put on another hair bodypart.

Thank you, but I've tried both of these. When I put on another hair, *both* of them show up at once.

If you are wearing a prim hair you will likely need to wear a bald base underneath of it, instead of a hair base. The other option is to go into appearance mode and set all your hair sliders to 0 so you look bald.

If you haven't already, try wearing one of those "bald" skincaps that usually comes with boughten prim hair.
Also, make sure you dont have another copy of the same hair elsewhere in your inventory list. I wound up with duplicates because of the "save as" bug, and had the same problem till I figured out it was the copy I was wearing, and not the original.
