I herewith wish to lay a formal complaint against the "gaming" system known as The Hunger::First Blood and its varied forms of spelling, but generally represented on the website at HTTP://SLthehunger.com/
and the following residents as its self-proclaimed major staff:
Chase Bosch---- Staff member
Tryptofaa Sands-----staff member
Panda Hynes-----staff member
Sexxy Dejavu-----Creator/Owner
This system, without any consent and or prior discussion involves and records residents, whose names then appear with fictional information on various pages (Usually related to active players) on the mentioned website.
This, I believe is is total violation of the Second Life/Linden Labs EULA and ToS. The fact that residents are represented without ANY prior knowledge as part of a closed system and in total arbitrary fictional context and have their names recorded outside SL warrants a total closure of "The Hunger" and possibly an immediate and forthwith suspension of the named creators and distributors of this system.
In fact I would argue that this course of action is immediately required by Linden Labs while all the impact in terms of the ToS, and EULA is being investigated.
Residents need to be safeguarded against this kind of activity by anyone. for instance:
A resident is being shown to have a "Liege", in total ignorance of such status on this page:

Ms Marie Starsider claims no knowledge of having consented to having Ms Kaitlin Seetan be recognised as her "liege" or to be in an way affiliated to the "lesombre" clan. She has, upon learning of this situation, submitted a formal abuse report with Linden Labs.
The system apparently retains enough information about people who have been "bitten" without their knowledge so that they can be IMed on the 3d "bite" to request further participation in this "game".
I hereby call for a total in-world ban on this system and an immediate suspension of the parties involved in its deployment and distribution until this compliance status of this system is satisfactorily resolved in terms of the ToS and EULA.

This, I believe is is total violation of the Second Life/Linden Labs EULA and ToS. The site is external to SL/LL so anything published there is completely outside of the realm of what the TOS covers. |
