Perhaps a dumb question, but... I mostly used the quick and easy market sale so far. Lately I started selling off my Linden dollars using the limit sale. Since my L$ are withdrawn right away, the question that nags me is: what happens if no one buys at the rate I offer? How long does it take until the sales offer expires? Will LL pay me the exact amount of L$ back?

If you put them for sale in the 265-267 range, they should sell within a day or two. If for any reason you need your lindens or money back, you can always go to LindeX Currency exchange --> Transaction history, and cancel the order. The money/lindens will promptly be refunded to you. I'm not aware of any expiry dates.

The limit sell and the limit buy orders never expire. If you place one of these orders and it doesn't fill, it will remain pending until it sells. You can, however, cancel these orders at any time and receive the unfilled balance back to your account.
So, if you place a limit sell for 10,000L at 265 and 2 days later none has sold, you can cancel the order and your account will be credited the 10,000L instantly.
