At what altitude (Z) do the map renders draw?

My question is: At what altitude (Z) do the map renders draw?

That is to say I know I built a road at around 300 meters and that shows on the map (thus the beach below does not) and I have a sandbox at 700 meters and this does not show up even though the map photo was clearly snapped when both were there.

If I moved my road to ... 400? Would the next draw omit it? That's what I want. Specifically the absolute lowest point I'm safe at centering my prim.

Tried searching this out but I haven't been able to sort it out.

Thanks!

Rendering draw distance is set client-side in the preferences menu. If you want to see your road, set it to something like 512... BEWARE though; unless you run all your shit on Deep Blue SL will slow to a crawl.

400 is the mark. Anything above that will not draw on the map.
