Hi there,
Just trying to buy my reserved island from the land store. I'm doing exactly what I did with the previous one, but just keep getting this error message:
NoMethodError in Management#pay_for_region
undefined method `balance_due' for nil:NilClass
Is this just that it won't take my Mastercard? The card account is registered to my SL account, is OK and in credit. Don't understand.
Any ideas???

There have been many problems of credit card companies accepting bills from Linden Lab. I, myself, had to change to a Paypal account for billing because my Visa card wouldn't accept charges from Linden Lab...reason being is fraud. I haven't had a problem with billing on Linden Lab; so, my guess is that many players buy lindens, or land and then get sticker shock and decide that it's too much money and back out of the deal and claim fraud...OR, it could be hacked accounts...OR...well, for whatever reason, I did what I had to do to keep my island.

Contact support. The above appears to be a bug in the code of the Land Store.
The credit card business - one possible cause (and this was only a rumour I heard being discussed, nothing official) is that LL's current payment method might be unacceptable under new credit card rules. Essentially, the 3-digit card security code is never supposed to be stored anywhere, so they're supposed to ask for it again every time they start a transaction. A recurring payment (such as a Premium subscription) can be counted as a single transaction, and presumably a payment legitimately taken in duress has some allowance too (eg, if you destroy a rented video, you can't withhold your security code to stop the video rental place charging you for it) - but a "you can buy Linden Dollars any time you like" type thing can't, so the client should be asking you to type in your 3-digit card security value whenever you buy L$..

Contact the concierge and they will sort it for you. I had same problem and same message. In fact, I ended up buying an Island next to my reservations (that worked just fine) and then the concierge moved it for me to where my reservation was. (Thanks Spike!)
If I'd contacted them first off it would have been sorted NP.

(if you had asked me I could have told you sometimes this thing bugs out like that and they can do it manually instead of through the store)
