I recently sold my land without the objects included. I want to transfer the objects to the new owner after all, without picking them up or moving them. Is there a way to do it without selling them? There are a lot of them, and they have all kinds of different permissions, so if I select them all I can't even put them all up for sale. Even if I separate out all the non-sellable ones (ouch) and try to sell the rest, I don't know how long they'll sit there for sale before the new owner logs in again.

I believe the only way to sell an object without moving it's in-world position is to set the object for sale / original.
However, there's no guarantee that the 'right' person will be the one to buy it; anyone else who comes along could buy it and take it.
FWIW, the 'sell objects with land' would have only worked for transferable objects anyways, if an object is no-transfer you can't sell or give it away, period.

The quickest way is to have the sell the land back to you and then for you to resell with objects. Make sure you do not set the land to "anyone" but that you take the time to type in your names.

Set Each item to Sale for $L0 and Check "Original" this allows them to take title of the object and leave it In Situe. Make sure all Multi-prim objects are linked, as it will save you a huge amount of time, and Headache when Transferring. If there is an Object you created In Situe that you wish to keep, Take a Copy Before Selling it. If the objects you want to Give him are ones you haven't created, some may be "No Transfer" you are out of luck there as there is no way to Give those to the new owner. Hope this helps. Angel. |
