How do you sell your land if you can't get in SL?

Hello everybody.
I have a problem I can't figure out.
I haven't been able to stay in SL for more than a few minutes without my PC crashing since the 1.14 upgrade.
My question IS NOT about how to fix this crash problem.
I've already been in the crappy SL support system for over a month...
So now I'm ready to sell my land, cash out and downgrade to a free account.
The problem I have now is that I have land that is worth money but I cannot stay in game long enough to negotiate land sales.
Is there a way that I can manage this land sale with out being "in" SL itself?

If your not ready for a new machine of your own, go over to a friends house and load SL on theirs. Dont know of any way to offload land from outside of the game. If there is I would be interested in hearing how.

I know a way, but it would entail you giving someone you trust your password, which is against LL rules. If you think about it long enough you will come to the solution I am alluding to, but not suggesting.

Have you tried the nicholaz compiled version of client?
Have you tried setting preferences to the minimum? Set graphics memory to minimum, clear cache, draw distance to 64, uncheck everything in graphics detail and advanced graphics, set your login location to some obscure place with no traffic, and finally, disable all things not neccessary before running the client, such as anti-virus, etc?

Thanks! You should first try emailing or calling customer service. But it's really a non-issue since the client software is required to play the game. |

If your talking about giving your passward to a buddy and having him do a land transaction for you, YIKES! I would be less paranoid about giving out the passward than having the friend make a mistake and having a landbot swoop in and buy the land for a dollar or something.
