Hi, can anybody explain why everything I (and guests) say in chat, in my new house, is repeated with the word 'TAIWAN' in front. So I say 'hallo' and immediately the chat line shows this and the next line says 'TAIWAN: HALLO'. I am the only one who sees this, nobody else, so maybe it is triggered to the owner? What causes it? How do I turn it off?

There is an object, named "taiwan", that is listening to you and repeating your words back to you.
If it only happens in your house then the object is in your house somewhere. If you do not own the object, check the objects tab in 'about land' and see what it says about objects not owned by you. If you do not have auto-return active, you might want to turn it on. Someone may have left this thing around.
Or if you do own it, i.e. maybe it's a translator or something else, you just have to pick it up into inventory, or delete it, in order to shut it up.

From: ProfessorKindly Kline Hi, can anybody explain why everything I (and guests) say in chat, in my new house, is repeated with the word 'TAIWAN' in front. So I say 'hallo' and immediately the chat line shows this and the next line says 'TAIWAN: HALLO'. I am the only one who sees this, nobody else, so maybe it is triggered to the owner? What causes it? How do I turn it off? Solved! Taiwan lives in the house next door to ProfessorKindly, and whenever he heard the Prof say 'Hello' he responded with one of his own, being neighborly and all that. Should buy a house that is less than 20m from a neighbors, that's the lesson here
