Be aware that I have (to the tune of 12500L$) discovered a glitch in the system where land can be purchased by two parties at the same time! The land is only paid for once however and the buyer is not the receiver of the sold land!!!!!!
When this happens, Don't expect the Lindens to help you. I tried online help and they said to request an investigation. When I didn't hear anything back, I called and was told in short that the Lindens Don't want to hear it!!!
So if this happens to you...
Contact the new owners of the land immediately and pray that they are honest. Ask nicely and maybe they will give your land back.
I listended to the Lindens and now it's too late to trace who the new owners were/are.

Congratulations. You have most likely been screwed by the owner of a land-purchasing bot, which can act far faster than you can!
Why Linden Lab continues to turn a blind eye to the use of such Bots is a mystery to me... _____________________
