Here's a stressful woe - I had a female alt that got a job as a stripper/escort so I could raise some cash to buy my RL girlfriend some land in SL, just because I wanted to see her smile. I got found out and fired.

Honestly, you try to do something nice and you just get bitten in the ass for it.

Relationships are best left out of SL.

I once retagged (when u skim ur mouse over them a description come up, i just changed the desciption) about a dozen roses with sentimental notes and scattered them about his house... had him in my PALM!!! (sorry Moxy)

Oh, this was for my RL girlfriend of five years. In Sl we don't move in the same social circles at all, and rarely see each other. She, however, has many, many SL "gentleman companions". I don't mind, it's all a bit of fun. What I mean't was that RL relationships are best left out of SL, to be specific.

Now, my avie however is a single, elligible bachelor. *rubs the shoe shaped bruise on his forehead* So, fancy grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat somewhere?

Again, what part of "answers" doesn't make sense? THis isn't the "SL Personals" forum, or the "Dating in your Second Life" forum.

I also requested stories or accounts of relationships in sl, hence resident answers.
I hope i that makes enough sense.

This guy is so concerned about the forums getting shut down. Ironically, the only thing I've ever seen Dr Tardis post is warnings that the board will be shut down if we carry on.
Not once have I seen him post anything else.

So basically, as I said in another thread, he reckons we shouldn't use the board incase it gets shut down and we can't use it any more. Here's a question for you all, as residents from whom I want answers; do you agree or disagree that Dr Tardis' logic, is fundamentally flawed? Given that there is no point in having the board at all if we don't use it, so it may as well be shut down.

mebbe we should all push off and be sociable somewhere else?
