cant enter sl

Hello,

I got caught up in some go away/no trespassing script in a sandbox and untimately had to log off/quit.

I was able to log back in once, but then the thing attacked/followed me again and eventually I had to log again.

Now I can't log back in at all, I see the last scene, then a progress bar, then it quits and says login failed - the system is logging you out. Your account will not be not be available until (approx 1 min in the future each time)

What can I do?

It is not unusual for it to take the system a few minutes to complete logging an avatar out, and if you try to log in again before it is done, you get the message telling you your account won't be available for a few minutes. So don't try again for a few minutes.

When you do try again, after the time it needs to fully log you out has elapsed, you will probably want to log in somewhere different than where you logged out from. If the "Start Location" shows at the bottom left of the login screen, pick a sim like Ahern or Fortune and login there. If "Start Location" doesn't show, you can get it to by clicking the Preferences from the login screen and clicking the General tab. At the top of the fields for the General tab there's a field for "Start Location" that lets you select My Home, My Last Location, or <Type region name>, and right below that there's a checkbox for "Show Start Location on Login Screen. Check the box for Show Start Location, then click the OK button.

I didn't notice that option - I dont' think it was a time thing though because I tried for about 20 mins.

Does anybody has a solution to help us? a way to log off from out of the game??

Try this - sign in as your alt and IM your account...that sometimes helps kick you out of the system.

Thanks for the tip, it's already done, and it did nothing... By chance, there is an update on tomorrow, so SL will logg me off. For once, i love downtime. ^^

Well, we all have alts

Can you IM a friend from your alt (cough) or even from out of world (in a saved e-mail perhaps?) and have them go to the spot where your main might be ghosted to see if you're still hanging around? Other than that, I guess just wait it out

I did it with my alt, and i am still ingame, looking like a statue, with 2 friends of mine.... Poor of them, i think they have the same problem.
When will LL hire real Game Masters like in other games? ^^

Sim may need a restart - ask for a Linden on the almost gone help request channel.

Hehe - alts are handy for when TP is down - just pre-position them at your favorite places, then all you have to do is log in as the alt at the location you want to go to.......
