I'm not entirely sure of the proper jargon to describe what I'm looking for so bear with me  . My AO sit animation is actually two animiations: the first - animates the legs - has a high priority so it'll always play, but the other has a low priority so that when I talk, the typing anim will fade in and out smoothly (or when holding something my legs will swing but the upper part of the holding-in-hand anim will show proper). Is there a similar one for a walk? The reason would be that when holding something and walking I have to turn my AO off which leaves the less than desirable default walk animatiion  .

Kitty, you would need a walk animation where the only parts that were changed in the creation of the animation were from the hips down. I suspect that you are using one of the "sexy walk" animations in which case the hips rotate back and forth as part of the animation. If this was created without changing the upper body to do as you like the result would be the upper half of your body rocking back and forth like you were in 40 foot swells on the ocean.
I think you probably need a custom walk created that is pre-positioned for carrying whatever you are carrying.
