They just updated the entry...available today but rolling restart tomorrow.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering... I saw the announcement, yet where is the viewer? Logging into SL doesn't give me the option to update, and I can't find the download on the SL website...!?!!

Neb, the update isn't up for downloading yet. I keep checking every five minutes and it's still at the old download.

Why did they decide to wait until TOMORROW? Bad enough they're going to do a maint period on Wednesday. At this point, there's no reason to do the rolling restart or the optional viewer.

I tried it 4 times after installation of a clean copy and cleaning registry etc

i get a nice blue screen when i click run :(

I get the message to download the update when I try to sign in. But for some reason my SpySweeper Spyware / antivirus is interfering. I have tried to close it and it still won't download. guess I don't need it!

it gave me that message as well so i just went to the site and downloaded it (my antivirus stuff was all off as well). I got it to work by rolling back some drivers so now i am just crashing every 60 seconds again ..

Yah, every time I edit (for the first time) a newly rezzed object, I crash :(

After that I can re-edit that object as much as I want.. it's really annoying

Having the same problem, I've reverted to the older viewer. It works much better.

Yep, same thing. Try to edit something newly rezzed, crash. Turn on vertex shaders, crash. Turn on streaming music, crash.

I did not try to build anything, didn't have the need for that, besides this everything worked fine for me...

mmm, no crash for me since..wow !!! 15 minutes !!! this is a record since 1.17!

for now, no obsious problem. I'll go deeper and report.
