Well a few months ago the concurrents were going up at a rate of 10 K per week.........and sort of accelerating due the many new residents signing up. Back about February when we hit 20 K I would have predicted 50 K by the end of March.........it didn't happen. Seems we stalled at 30 K and very slowly began creeping up on 35 K and even more slowly to 40 K. We may hit 50 K in a week or so.......but not a consistant thing.
I think a lot of people do as I do which is check the log ins, see it over 30 K and back out to come back later when the grid is less busy. Too much lag, lost inventory, failed TP's and general irritations that make a visit to SL less than pleasant. Right now, 30,000 logged in at one time is right at that wall where things start to happen......it's been that way for a couple months or so. |

Certainly things where fine last night on 45K for me ( and before 30K saw everything creasing up ). Whilst with higher loads things will still lag in places they definatly have moved the wall in the right direction. |

LL stated that traffic would be going away. That was like 2 weeks ago (don't anybody quote me on that) and even though we've had a major upgrade, traffic is STILL HERE. What gives? |
