Ban Or Eject Will Not Work

I just got hired at a new club and was given Ban And Eject powers but they do not work When i click on a av to eject or ban it does not work.And a few weeks ago it did.The eject button or ban doesn't come up at all.Any help would be great.Thanks

You should be able to see what powers you have and dont have in your group information. Its often done this way- they remove eject and ban from the "Everyone" role but forget to add it to all the other roles that need it. |

Did you rememer to activate the correct Group? If you belong to more than one group, and another group affiliation was active, you won't be able to exercise the permissions.

Yes it does show in the group that i have the powers to Eject Or Ban but it's still not coming up.

What Beebo said, when you click on groups in your circular profile right click menu, you should see that group activated.

From: Cyndi Dyrssen Yes it does show in the group that i have the powers to Eject Or Ban but it's still not coming up. make sure You have your proper role in group title on as well, go to group info, then click the roles tab, at the bottom you will see a drop down menu, click it and if need be switch to your job title. that should help

ok this is very weird on my land i can ban and eject but in the group iam in and the same place i work i can't eject even though it say's i can.

I'm having this same problem from the other way. I have given certain people the power to eject and freeze, and it won't work. They do have the correct group activated, but the freeze and eject buttons are grayed out. Is there a bug here?

And check that the land ownership wasn't moved to some other group, rendering all permissions worthless

Here is an adaptation on this thread. We bought land, deeded it to our group, each member (all co-owners of the group) get powers to eject, ban etc.... When I am wearing the group tag the only people that I can see the 'Eject, Ban, Freeze etc' icons on their profile, are the other group members, none appear on anyone elses profiles. Now.. when I leave the land.. I only see those icons on a small proportion of people's profiles, when I am on THEIR land. When I move to another groups land (which we also own, different group) the icons come back on the group members profiles only again LOL....  What is even more weird... (yes this gets better).. we invited a Linden onto our land to see some technology we were showcasing... when I clicked on their profile... guess what showed up?..... the ban icon LOLOL... No I didnt click it! Mainly because the Freeze icon was greyed out LOL This has been a 'feature' since we first bought land in SL.
